General Industry Safety Training

Join us for a review and discussion of SB553 (Labor Code requiring, among other things, a written plan addressing workplace violence), and Cal-OSHA's Title 8 proposed rule, section 3343 to Title 8. These new rules regarding workplace violence are causing some confusion and concern.  We will be discussing SB553 (written plans required by 7/1), as well as Cal-OSHA’s anticipated adoption of new Title 8 section 3343.  There are some significant differences, many involving training. We’ll cover the elements of both and best ways to comply with their requirements.
